Live food

Livefood (Group)

Monkfield was the first commercial livefood breeder in the UK, and has witnessed huge growth and change in the reptile industry over the past 25 years.

Every year the demand for livefood increases, as interest in reptile keeping continues to grow.

Ongoing investment in our livefood production facilities ensures we always stay ahead of demand, providing customers with a quality product and reliable service.

We produce 3 species of crickets, blacks, bandeds and silents, to cater for the varying needs and preferences of customers.

We produce locusts, which have rapidly increased in popularity over the past 5 years and dubia roaches.

We also supply mealworms, morioworms and wax moth larvae for the bird food market as well as reptile keepers.
